Q Is it possible for me to get 'stuck' in a hypnotised state?
A No, you are in complete control and can 'break the state' whenever you wish.

Q I'm sure I can't be hypnotised?

A Anybody can go into a hypnotic state. We spend much of our daily lives in a trance. Think about that drive to work when you suddenly notice you have arrived. Who was driving the car? Your unconscious was keeping watch whilst you were thinking about what was for dinner. You could call it your 'driving trance'.

The only people I would not attempt to hypnotise are people under the influence of drink or drugs, those suffering from diagnosed epileptic fits or certain psychological problems.

Q Is everything that is said in session kept confidential?

A Yes absolutely, but with one condition. The guidelines of the National Council of Hypnotherapists  compel me to reveal anything discussed in session if I believe that either the client or somebody else may come to harm.

Q I am concerned that I may say something in session that I might regret. Does this sort of thing happen?

A No. Remember you are in control of what is said and done in session. Your unconscious mind exists to keep you away from pain and to move you toward pleasure, it is a very powerful force indeed and will therefore work hard not to 'compromise you' in any way.

Q Can I be made to do something I don't want to?

A No

Q How long is a session last?

A Anything from 60 - 75 minutes

Q Am I under your control

A No
