Actually that's not completely true. A good diet works. The problem is you can't stick to one.


Forever fighting that urge to 'be naughty' or 'go on you deserve it'. Oh those inner voices which seem to haunt you, mock you and keep you either stuck at the weight you don't want to be or ever expanding.


I've got some news for you. The 'bad for you voice' isn't somewhere out there, it isn't a mysterious voice that exists outside of you, no. The voice you hear is in fact you. Think about that for a bit, it's you doing your own head in!


That voice is your unconscious demanding what it believes is the right thing for you to do to 'feel happy', 'be in control', 'rebel' or maybe 'belong'.


I always tell my weight loss clients that it is never about the food and i mean never. It is only ever about what the food 'represents'. Find that out and you are on to a winner.


Your unconscious (the boss as I fondly call it) is just using food as a sticky plaster over the festering wound of an internal value or belief and once you and I do some work together to find out a bit more about 'how you do your problem' then food can just be food, drink can just be drink and finally you are in control of what you consume.


It really will end up being a case of 'I could have that if I want, I just don't want it'.


Imagine that, never having to go on a diet again!
